"Deep, rich red colour with subtle purple and brick tinges. The bouquet is very chocolatey, plummy, vanillan and sweetly ripe. There’s a big dollop of sweetness in the middle and the finish is soft and dry with well-judged powdery tannins. It’s a succulent, delicious wine." – Huon Hooke
