"When I was a young boy, grandpa Ken Kies used to sneak me a sip of his Shiraz, take me on tours of the vineyard and buy me basketball cards, telling me not to tell my siblings.

We had such a special bond and although grandpa passed when I was ten, there hasn’t been a day that he has not been on my mind.

So I made this wine in his honour.

2025 VINTAGE NOTES:
The 2025 Guardian Angel Shiraz was matured in four brand new A.P. John’s Shenandoah oak barrels, giving the wine beautiful structure and depth while retaining purity of fruit. Limited to just 12 months in 100% new oak, this vintage showcases a vibrant purple hue alongside lifted lavender aromatics and bright berry characters, creating a beautifully balanced and expressive Shiraz.

There are only 1200 bottles produced, each individually numbered. It's a special occasion wine, so your bottle should be unique.

If you’re lucky enough to drink it with your family, close friends, or mentor, enjoy! But this wine is best suited to honouring someone special in your life that is looking down on you from above."
